A Collector of mine requested a “special painting for his wifes upcoming birthday”.
In the painting he wanted specific images.. He told me “she loves the pinks, and greens and purples of orchids, gingers and hibiscus ocean, and palm trees . It needs to be along a beach setting and to include the “Peace Sign” on a Palm Tree.
I worked with photos of the kids and also had the daughter come to my studio so I could draw her from life. They were very happy with the watercolor and we called it “Beach Babies”
